28 Nov The H2MARINE project at the Hydrogen Research and Innovation Days 2025
The Hydrogen Research and Innovation Days 2025, organized by the Clean Hydrogen Partnership, took place in Brussels on 24-25 November 2025.
At this event, Project Coordinator Dr. Kyriakos Panopoulos presented the H2Marine Project during the “Hydrogen for Mobility” session. During his presentation, Dr. Panopoulos presented the project’s concept and targets, as well as the results and innovations achieved to date. Finally, he highlighted the expected impact of the project, which aims to pave the way to solve critical issues necessary to establish PEMFCs as a key solution and hydrogen as a vital fuel/component for the decarbonization and defossilization of the marine sector.
At the end of the session, Dr. Panopoulos participated in a discussion, moderated by Project Officer Lionel Boillot, related to how hydrogen is
advancing mobility on the road, at sea, in ports, and in the air.
