Shaping the Future of Maritime: Highlights from the H2MARINE General Assembly, September 2024

The General Assembly for the H2MARINE project was successfully held online on September 26th, 2024. Partners across Europe met up to review the project’s progress, share insights, and plan the next steps. The meeting featured important updates from all work packages that are currently running, focusing on key technical and management aspects of the project.

The meeting was initiated by the Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH), the coordinator of the H2MARINE project, with the agenda overview, followed by an update on project management, addressing current issues and deliverables for the next period. The progress on defining operational parameters and test protocols was discussed, while the current status of the diagnostic tools for large maritime fuel cells was also presented. During the meeting, interesting insights into the development of fuel cell stacks and updates on high power density stack advancements were also shared. The meeting ended with CERTH reviewing next steps and planning for the upcoming General Assembly.

The H2MARINE project continues to make significant strides toward a sustainable hydrogen-powered future for the maritime industry.
